Vintage bicycle parts

As a young man he shouldered a backpack and a guitar and walked out of his British village, leaving its quiet lanes behind. He set his compass toward the land of the free, where the road gave him friends —hobos riding empty rails, Deadheads chasing a song.

He could not have known then that his wandering would settle in Sweden, where he would raise a family and, with restless hands, turn his curiosity into craft: silver jewellery shaped by patient fingers and bespoke bicycles built one frame at a time. Pete made it to eighty but he left behind a remarkable trove of bicycles and parts that suddenly found themselves without a home.

This corner of ATR gathers some of those pieces, along with other odds and ends in search of a second, or third, life. We hope this will help finish bike projects still waiting for the right headset, the missing bottom bracket or an elusive pair of hoods. And we like to think of this section as a small tribute to the eccentric hoarder and collector who lives quietly in many of us.
